Appearances can be deceiving. You may need to take a step back or squint your eyes. Or both—that usually works.
Reality is ultimately unprovable. It is the conclusion we reach after thoroughly evaluating our observations. It is whatever we consider to be real until something comes in to shatter our understanding. This quality of reality stems from the shortcomings of appearances. We can only measure what is apparent, but appearances can lie. Thus, we must exercise careful judgment and be willing to acknowledge our mistakes.
